austin yuCPR has given me the amazing opportunity to teach meaningful skills to students and has allowed me to thrive in a group of incredibly funny, passionate, and intelligent people. I'm currently aspiring to work in consulting, but I love all things communication, especially teaching. Fun fact about me, I used to be a pre-med psychobiology major my freshman year! In my free time, I love to play volleyball, watch golden retriever videos, work out, take long drives, and enjoy nature!

bilal panditBeing an instructor has really empowered me, giving me the opportunity to spread information about how to act in the case of an emergency. I have been in situations where having knowledge on what to do really played a role in helping someone, and being able to spread this information with others allows me to prepare others if they are ever placed in a similar situations. I love playing a variety of sports, particularly volleyball. I absolutely love food, whether it's trying new things or cooking, as I have been cooking for my family for over 4 years. I am also a big movie fanatic, particularly loving action and superhero movies.

alondra de andaHiii guys I'm Alondra!!! During my free time I love to hike, cook and watch New Girl. I wanted to be an instructor because I thought having the opportunity to teach would be an amazing skill to learn and it would also help me get out of my comfort zone and meet new people. My favorite thing about CPR is that we aren't just a program we are a family first and it's nice to have people you can rely on. In the future I hope to become a doctor or a physician's assistant not sure yet but I hope to focus on the heart or with kids.

Currently, I’m trying to learn how to sew and garden! Check back next year for an update…

meehan chowdhuryI joined CPR because teaching people has become a huge passion of mine during the pandemic. Being able to empower people with life changing and life saving skills is an extremely rewarding opportunity. I am trying to learn how to surf this quarter, although I am absolutely getting bodied by the waves, I am having a blast. I also wanted to learn how to cook but grocery shopping without a car is an absolute pain. Catch me eating out or eating overnight oats.

alan nguyenHello everyone! My name is Alan, and this is my second year in the program. I have greatly enjoyed spreading the CPR love and knowledge to all of our lovely students, and am excited to continue doing so this year. I am a ride-or-die Bay Area native and a certified 408 baddie. When I'm not teaching, I am probably eating an obscene amount of green grapes, crocheting, or coding. I can't wait to see you all in class!

Harrison huynhMy name is Harrison and I joined the CPR/FA program in my first year. I started off as a pre-health student but decided to transition over to computer science/software engineering. Despite my future career goals not precisely aligning with the program’s mission, I still find being a part of this big family an honor and joy in my experience here at UCLA. My hobbies are very athletically oriented, I really enjoy volleyball, basketball, running, and I lift regularly. If you ever see me in person please feel free to say hi because I’m super friendly

meagan kimbrellHi everybody, I'm Meagan!!!!! I am sooo beyond excited to be a part of the CPR/FA fam for my second year now! Through my teaching, I really hope to be able to empower others by giving them the knowledge to act during any emergencies that might arise (KNOCK ON WOOD THAT YOU'LL NEVER NEED TO USE THESE SKILLS, but also always be prepared :O). Some random things about me: I love trying new foods, traveling around the world, staying (somewhat) active, and looking at houses -- I am still trying to discover more things to add to this very short list. I am currently on the pre-med track in hopes of becoming a dermatologist, but we shall see how that goes!!!! #INCHIES4LIFE

kevin millerI love playing basketball, going to the beach and hanging out with friends. My music taste is always fluctuating and is very wide ranged, but right now I love Bruno Mars, AJR, and One Republic. I aspire to be either an anesthesiologist or a sports medicine physician, but there’s a long way to go before that can happen. I joined the CPR/FA program to make a difference and meet new people, and I cant wait to get closer to all of my fellow instructors this year and meet new students as well.

cindy nguyenHi my name is Cindy! I am a third year Biology major and this will be my first year as part of the CPR/FA family and I am super excited! I joined CPR/FA because I think it is incredibly important that more people are able to have access to education that can potentially save someone's life. I also wanted to be part of a tight knit family with a group of fun and determined individuals, and the CPR/FA team is just that! Outside of my academics, I really enjoy going to concerts (especially Harry Styles), working out, and just going out on spontaneous trips with my friends!

I am super excited to be a part of an amazing group of people that provides our local community with an opportunity to learn a life-saving skill. vanessa tranHi, it’s Vanessa! I joined UCLA CPR because I want to explore the field of emergency medicine and it’s always better to be over prepared (coming from someone who arrives to the airport 2 hours early). I look forward to finding my 4-lifers in this program! A little more about me: I love chocolate-filled churros, pesto pasta but only with Trader Joe’s pesto, Game of Thrones minus season 8 (iykyk), and making new friends!
