5th Year l Psychobiology

John Arthur Reyes
I love being a CPR instructor with this program because of the impactful nature of the class content and the warmth I feel in my heart from being surrounded by beautiful human beings. I’m a John-of-all-trades, master of none type of guy. Three things I’m into right now are running, practicing mindfulness meditation, and poorly navigating the young adult dating scene like a dork that I am. Three of my goals right now are running a 100mile race next June, becoming an expert around research in bipolar disorder, and figuring out what I want to do when I graduate.

It is amazing how simply teaching one individual about emergency medicine can really impact the lives of others outside the classroom. Also, having the opportunity to teach alongside such inspiring and and spirited people is extraordinary. In my spare time, I love to play with my German Shepard and go to DTLA's flower district.

Austin yuI really enjoy teaching people things, so joining this club was the perfect opportunity for me to teach others important life skills. Other things I enjoy are driving, listening to pop and EDM music, spontaneous adventures with friends, and going to the beach. Career wise, I'm not sure if I am pre-med yet, but a goal of mine right now is to work as an EMT for UCLA EMS in the coming years! Oh and I also want to raise a golden retriever one day.

bilal panditBeing an instructor has really empowered me, giving me the opportunity to spread information about how to act in the case of an emergency. I have been in situations where having knowledge on what to do really played a role in helping someone, and being able to spread this information with others allows me to prepare others if they are ever placed in a similar situations. I love playing a variety of sports, particularly volleyball. I absolutely love food, whether it's trying new things or cooking, as I have been cooking for my family for over 3 years. timothy bondocWhat it dooooo! I’m Tim! I’m a second-year biochemistry major who loves dancing salsa and bachata and will seriously jump at any opportunity to dance! Some may chalk that up to the fact that I’m Filipino — I’ll let you be the judge of that. I’ve also spent some time volunteering in Latin America, at which point I fell in love with Latin American culture and the Spanish language.
I joined SWC CPR/FA because I enjoy being able to gift other people with knowledge they can take pride in! More importantly, I truly adore the people with whom I work; I feel that their presence and support makes my experience ever more fulfilling and gratifying. I can’t express how fortunate I am to find my place among this family — I can’t wait to see what’s next! |
