Kelly linHello! I'm Kelly and I am excited to be a part of the CPR/FA family to promote health and wellbeing, as well as the power to take action in certain medical emergencies. One thing I regret is not joining CPR earlier! I joined CPR because I believe that everyone can learn this easy, yet crucial skill, potentially saving many lives in our community. When I am not studying or sleeping, I like to dance (even though I can't), hike, knit, and anything food! I don't know in what particular direction I am heading towards in the future, I just know that I want to be able to continue helping people, and that I will be a proud husky mom.

kenneth thaiHi everyone, it's Kenny! I am a fourth year Physiological Science major out from Oakland. This is my second year teaching CPR but I'm super excited to be apart of an amazing organization that provides students (+more) with opportunities to gain life-saving skills. I am super passionate about engaging with community through education so this program is a perfect place to do this alongside my #CPRFam <3 In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, going for runs and EATING! I'm a huge foodie so I love exploring for new culinary experiences. Though I can eat, one of my goals is to learn how to cook like my amazing mom :)

Alexander VervaetHi! I joined the program to give back to the community in an important and fun way, especially through the abundance of jokes we sprinkle into our classes. When I'm not teaching, I like to hang out with friends, exploring LA, or just laying in bed watching Netflix (always taking recommendations). This is my second year as CPR/FA instructor, so I hope to make the most of it! In the future, I want to head on to grad school to get a Master's in Epidemiology/Public Health (though I'll probably take a gap year because I'm suffering <3).

oscar estradaHey everyone! My name is Oscar and I am super excited to become a part of the amazing CPR family. One of my main reasons for joining this program was because the community seemed extremely supportive and heartwarming and I knew that it would be a great opportunity to build some great relationships. Being a part of this program will also enable me to foster enough confidence in my students to be able to act quickly in emergency situations. In my spare time, I love making playlists on Spotify, working out, skateboarding, watching Netflix, and learning how to play tennis.

alexander grandinettiI'm Alex! I am a bit of a foodie and love going out to eat with friends. Working out and staying healthy is very important to me. CPR knowledge I feel is super important and I would love to create awesome learning experiences for people just getting started! I can't wait to decide what I plan to do after college, and right now, I am just enjoying all these amazing experiences one by one!

ANNIE LIANGIn my free time, I enjoy drawing/painting, playing with my dogs (1 poodle terrier mix and 2 golden retrievers), and hanging out with friends. I love traveling and going to new places. I really wanted to join this program as an instructor to fuel my love for teaching and helping others! I also really adored the close-knit community that was apparent in this club, and I'm super excited to be apart of that. I hope to promote CPR and first aid as essential skills in my community. In the future, I hope to find out what I want to do in the future!

shiley davidHi everyone!!! To whoever is reading this, congrats for stalking us so hard :D My name is Shiley, I am a second year Neuroscience major, and I am thrilled to be a part of the CPR/FA family! A passion for education, eleven years of theater experience, and the opportunity to foster a community capable of taking action in emergency situations are just a few reasons why I LOVE being part of the CPR/FA family! This is only my second year in the program, and I have already gained the most encouraging, caring, and genuine community I have ever been a part of. When I am not studying or running between extracurriculars, you will find me listening to throwback bops, reading, baking, doing arts and crafts, traveling, at the beach, or rewatching Breaking Bad. Keep Stayin' Alive ;), and I hope to see you at our classes!

ivy nguyenI see SWC CPR and First Aid as a stepping stone for developing my confidence and also as an opportunity to gain leadership experience. Being able to give back to my community through teaching is something I am really looking forward to and being able to do so surrounded by such a great group is also very exciting.
I love thrifting, outdoor activities (spikeball, volleyball for fun), and artsy things like painting/doodling. I've been told my music taste is pretty sad but some of my favorite artists are Jeremy Zucker, Lauv, and Justin Bieber. |
